You want to lead and shape the future of Cleverbridge’s front-end technology stack and solutions. You enjoy getting your hands dirty in tech by validating your thoughts in POCs, but at the same time you get energy from getting people onboard for your vision and helping them take architectural decisions with your guidance.
Join the “Engineering Center of Excellence”, a team with Principals from other functional directions, allowing you to exchange with peers on how to enable teams and address challenges. You will also work closely with product managers, design lead, engineering managers and senior frontend engineers to deliver cutting-edge, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that drive our e-commerce solutions forward.
Your Background
- Proficiency in modern Frontend development
->Ability to write accessible and semantic HTML
->Mastery of Javascript and Typescript
->Experience with pure CSS, CSS preprocessors, CSS-in-JS
- Deep expertise in React and relevant tooling (Next.js is a plus)
- Solid grasp of API design best practices (REST, GraphQL)
- Proven experience of converting business problems into solutions
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concepts like SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, KISS
Your Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Own the overall architecture of our front-end systems, defining architectural milestones and preparing critical technical requirements
->Main topics: scaling architecture, improving global performance, enabling multi-team collaboration to reuse code etc.
- Technical Leadership: Guide the front-end engineers by setting coding standards and promoting best practices in code quality, performance, and scalability.
->Help Engineering Managers, when necessary, with assessing the qualifications of applicants and identifying potential for colleagues to grow
- Innovation & Strategy: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Propose and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experience and align with the company's strategic objectives.
->How AI can make it easier for Engineers to follow your guardrails etc.
- Collaboration & Communication: Communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and ensure transparency on which technical requirements are critical. Foster a positive and open-minded problem-solving culture amongst engineers.
- Mentorship & Development: Empower other Engineers to drive architectural decisions
->Mentor potentials with regards to technical decision making, but also addressing issues in the team and share their learnings in their Community of Practice
