At DHL Supply Chain, Salesforce is our Customer Relationship Management platform.

We use it to develop, monitor and improve customer relationships and ultimately make our company more successful.

We are looking for a talented CRM Development Manager to champion initiatives that will continuously make Salesforce more relevant and allow us to anticipate and respond to changing internal and external customer needs.

This will involve managing stakeholders at all levels, reviewing landscape changes and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

All this will be done whilst managing the daily workload of tactical projects, handling users' requests, and managing a direct report.

The CRM Development Manager will be a key member of the CRM team and will help shape our strategy and vision.

Your key accountabilities include:


  • Act as the thought leader for all CRM matters, analyze latest market trends for platforms, technologies and processes and champion their transition into the organization
  • Create a vision for the CRM future and inspire others to strive towards that vision
  • Continuously review options to drive up users adoption, business compliance and users experience
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify their requirements translate them into action plans
  • Lead medium to large projects on the CRM platforms agenda and manage them in close collaboration with business stakeholders across regions and functions potentially impacting 1600+ users
  • Deliver projects in time, quality and budget as aligned with key stakeholders and track progress
  • Regularly communicate project updates to involved stakeholders and senior management
  • Frequently exchange with the Salesforce architect, developer and 3rd party implementation partners about individual work packages
  • Create meaningful communication material and support the development of roll-out or training concepts to end users
  • Identify areas for improvements and work with Salesforce Architect to define projects scope and parameters
  • Challenge requirements in the context of the CRM digital platforms agenda ensuring a balance between differentiated region/ function-specific requests and a consistent global framework
  • Prepare and Lead the quarterly CRM Change Committee consisting of x-regional/ functional representatives, steering discussion and document according decision outcomes
  • Oversee invoice processes for the marketing & sales platforms team
  • Oversee and manager the Project Manager to ensure tasks are allocated in the most efficient manner and progress is being delivered against goals

  • Experience using a CRM platform - Essential (Salesforce is advantageous)
