We’re looking for a skilled and strategic Chief Operating Officer to lead operations for a fast-growing beauty brand that’s redefining anti-aging. You’ll own the operational strategy and drive the business forward to achieve its ambitious goal of scaling to 8 mid-figures this year.

YOUR MISSION

As the COO of this growing beauty brand, you will be at the heart of operations, ensuring the seamless execution of key strategies to fuel the company's rapid growth. You’ll be tasked with optimizing operational processes and solving any challenges in the supply chain, product fulfillment, or customer experience that could hinder scaling. Your role is critical in empowering the CEO to focus on high-level decisions, while you lead the operational backbone to achieve ambitious goals over the next year.

What You’re Getting Into

In this role, your impact will be measured by the operational efficiency you bring to the business. You’ll oversee the foundation of growth — from an optimized supply chain to an exceptional customer experience and an agile team. Your responsibilities will include:

Supply Chain Management

  • Plan and forecast demand, manage purchase orders and timelines with manufacturers and ensure efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Oversee operations with third-party logistics providers, monitor customer shipments, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise the import of goods to local warehouses or FBA and evaluate opportunities to enhance product quality.

Customer Experience

  • Lead initiatives to hire additional customer service team members, implement new support strategies (e.g., chat and phone channels), and enhance satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Develop customer support documentation, guidelines, and databases with the Head of Customer Service, ensuring consistency across the team.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., chargebacks, refunds, customer satisfaction, and response times) to identify and address areas for improvement.

Team Leadership And Development

  • Identify and recruit top talent for operational roles (e.g., Agents, Supply Chain Managers, Video Editors, Graphic Designers) and ensure seamless onboarding to align new hires with company goals.
  • Set clear KPIs, oversee team performance, and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across all departments.
  • Foster a culture of growth through training, mentorship, and collaboration, ensuring the team is motivated, agile, and ready to scale operations effectively.

Website Management

  • Collaborate with the developer to implement visual sections, pages, and funnels, ensuring alignment with the finalized copy.
  • Continuously assess and identify opportunities to optimize funnels, focusing on areas for improvement to enhance conversion rates.
  • Regularly check and calculate KPI targets on a weekly and monthly basis to track progress and drive performance.

Finances

  • Review and validate monthly bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Monitor and verify Triplewhale P&L for accuracy, ensuring proper alignment with financial goals.
  • Monitor sales tax thresholds to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Marketplace & B2B

  • Manage import and compliance processes for Amazon, as well as oversee Amazon FBA supply chain, optimizing inventory management and fulfillment efficiency.
  • Handle Amazon listing creation and review management to maintain visibility and customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently process and respond to B2B inquiries, ensuring smooth communication and timely follow-up.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with eCommerce brands
  • Proven experience in operations roles with direct involvement in supply chain management, customer support optimization, and process improvement.
  • Strong holistic thinker with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, and remote-first environment
  • Proactive, organized, and able to handle challenges with a hands-on approach.
  • Comfortable with high-pressure environments, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring key operational goals are met.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a young, dynamic team that values results
  • Weekend availability when needed and willingness to contribute beyond standard working hours as part of a high-growth environment.
  • Basic marketing understanding is beneficial but not mandatory.

What Success Looks Like

  • In your first 30 days, you will work closely with the CEO to understand the ins and outs of the company and familiarise yourself with the tools and processes.
  • In 60 days, you’ll be working side by side with the CEO, and begin to implement and execute initiatives with feedback provided.
  • At 90 days, you’ll be fully established in the role and will have the opportunity to lead independently.
