Learning & Development Expert - Lely Academy

Do you have excellent didactic skills to further put Learning & Development on the map within Lely? Do you have a passion for designing and implementing innovative Learning & Development programs? Do you also excel as a trainer? Then this is your chance to make a difference within Lely!

As a Learning & Development Expert at Lely, you are responsible for supporting training experts from the business in implementing Lely's training vision. You will provide didactic advice on the design of various training programs aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of our colleagues worldwide. You are part of the Lely Academy team consisting of 8 colleagues and are responsible for various areas of interest, including Sales.

Your Main Tasks Will Consist Of

• Carrying out Learning Needs Analysis to identify training needs and find innovative ways to deliver training.
• Designing training courses in collaboration with various stakeholders and external training agencies.
• Implementing training in a blended, continuous learning and learning on the job way with various methods such as e-learning, AI and gamification.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making improvements.
• Acting as a contact person for the business and external training agencies.
• Providing didactic advice to training experts in the business and encouraging a clear way of working.
• Developing the Learning & Development competence within Lely.
• You 'train the trainer' and 'train the developer' in the field of designing and delivering training in accordance with Lely's training vision.
  
  

In addition to these tasks, you independently provide training and facilitate sessions and workshops. You are also responsible for monitoring the budget. You spend about 20% of your time on organizational tasks.

About

As an ideal candidate for the position of Learning & Development Expert, you have fantastic didactic skills, strategic insight and a strong Learning & Development background. You communicate effectively with different stakeholders and understand the needs of the organization. Furthermore, you have a passion for new technologies and methods to improve the learning experience of colleagues. You assess the input from the business and ask questions about it. Further:

• You have completed a higher professional education (e.g. bachelor’s degree).
• You have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• You have demonstrable experience in designing training courses.
• You have sufficient seniority to enter into discussions with management teams of departments.
• You have experience with project and stakeholder management.
• You can work in a structured way in a 'hands on' manner and complete things.
• You currently live in the Netherlands with a valid work permit and have good communication skills in English. Command of the Dutch language is a plus.
• You enjoy taking the stage and presenting!
