Associate, Content Finance Strategy & Analysis - EMEA

Netflix’s Content Finance Strategy & Analysis team is looking for an Associate to join its team in its EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam. The Content Finance Strategy & Analysis team develops strategic insights to further the company's global entertainment efforts and is primarily responsible for deal valuation, programming and growth strategies, performance/audience insight, and competitive analysis. Executives and senior management depend heavily on the Content Finance Strategy & Analysis team to accurately forecast the business and lead the strategic analysis that is used to inform important business decisions.


A Sample Of Work Could Include

• Innovating and developing content performance metrics, frameworks and insights
• Analyzing content investment and performance to develop short- and long-term recommendations
• Informing content and audience prioritization based on internal data and market analysis
• Guiding Netflix’s content launch strategy and deepening understanding of title audiences
• Conducting market research and competitive trends analysis
• Streamlining and managing key analytical operations and reporting
• Working cross-functionally with other Finance & Strategy teams globally as well as Product, Marketing, Data Science and Consumer Insights teams
  
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 1.5 - 3yrs years of experience in a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role. We are looking for candidates that have worked in a highly-demanding environment in which complex modeling and analysis is performed
• Passion for entertainment and avid watcher of content
• Strong communication/presentation skills with track record of presenting complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently; thrives in a fast-paced, always changing environment
• Highly intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo and exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint
• Fluency in English required; Fluency in one or more additional EMEA languages (Arabic or European language) is a plus
