Als Room Attendat speel je een essentiële rol in het handhaven van een schone en ordelijke omgeving voor onze gewaardeerde gasten. Je ondersteunt het schoonmaakpersoneel bij diverse taken en zorgt ervoor dat onze gasten kunnen genieten van een comfortabel verblijf. Met oog voor detail, een sterke werkethiek en een teamgeest ben je een onmisbare schakel in ons team.

Wat ga je doen:

• Kamerreiniging en voorbereiding: Assisteren bij het schoonmaken, bedden opmaken, meubels afstoffen, tapijten stofzuigen en voorzieningen aanvullen.
• Linnengoed en benodigdheden beheren: Verzamel gebruikt linnengoed, lever schoon linnengoed af en vul benodigdheden aan.
• Schoonmaak van openbare ruimtes: Onderhoud netheid in gangen, lobbies, liften en andere gemeenschappelijke ruimtes.
• Afvalbeheer: Leeg regelmatig vuilnis- en recyclingbakken en zorg voor juiste afvoer.
• Aanvullen en inventaris: Houd schoonmaakkarren bijgevuld en meld tekorten of defecten.
• Gastenservice: Snel en beleefd reageren op verzoeken van gasten en zorgen voor tevredenheid.
• Samenwerking met het team: Werk samen voor een efficiënte voltooiing van taken en bied ondersteuning.
• Naleving van veiligheids- en hygiënenormen: Volg procedures, houd een schone en veilige werkplek.
• Flexibiliteit: Bereid zijn om verschillende diensten te werken, inclusief weekenden en feestdagen.

Functie eisen:

• Ervaring in een functie op het gebied van housekeeping of schoonmaakwerk is gewenst, maar niet vereist.
• Oog voor detail en het vermogen om efficiënt te werken in een dynamische omgeving.
• Fysieke uithoudingsvermogen en het vermogen om repetitieve taken uit te voeren, zoals staan, buigen en tillen.
• Uitstekende communicatie- en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden om effectief te kunnen communiceren met gasten en teamleden.
• Basiskennis van schoonmaaktechnieken, materialen en apparatuur is nuttig.
• Flexibiliteit om zich aan te passen aan veranderende prioriteiten en werkschema's indien nodig.

As a Room Attendant, you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Your role will involve assisting the housekeeping staff with various tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job description

Room Cleaning and Preparation: Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms by making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.
Linen and Supply Management: Collect used linens and deliver clean linens to the designated areas.
Replenish supplies, such as toiletries and towels, as needed in guest rooms and public areas.
Public Area Cleaning: Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including corridors, lobbies, elevators, and other common spaces, by vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste and adherence to recycling procedures.
Restocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock housekeeping carts with supplies, such as cleaning agents, linens, and amenities, as necessary. Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Guest Service: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or other housekeeping services, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient completion of tasks, providing assistance and support as needed.
Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Follow established safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning agents and equipment. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Identify and report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor for prompt resolution.
Flexibility: Be prepared to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the hotel.
Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment is beneficial.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required.
