Regional Microsoft Market Development Lead (Benelux and additional sectors) Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Wipro is currently seeking candidates for a Regional Microsoft Market Development Lead position to work on supporting our strategic partnerships Role & Responsibilities:
  • The Microsoft Partnership Manager develops and strengthens relationships with the regional sales team and influencers within Microsoft. He/she should become a trusted advisor to Microsoft and should participate in his strategic planning. (Exec connections)
  • He/she builds a trusted group of referable contacts who can vouch for Wipro. He/she executes a plan to develop allies, builds personal connections, and gains access to new contacts. He/she ensures a balance of customer engagement and partner engagement across business, management and operations.
  • He/she identifies opportunities of growing the partnership in the region and leads account strategy and planning along with Practice managers. (Leads)
  • He/she is aware of every funding option at Microsoft, attracting meaningful investments to foster pipeline generation and improve delivery and Operating Margin (Investments)
  • He/she drives solution building and governance with practice and pre-sales teams and working with both Wipro and Microsoft teams to drive services revenue for Wipro and sell with and sell thru revenue for Microsoft. (Azure Consumption Revenue)
  • Mapping and alignment with Field sales teams in regions – pipeline generation, support to drive opportunity to closure and other operational excellencies as well. (Order Booking related to Microsoft Cloud)
  • Collaborate with sales and Microsoft teams in the to qualify, develop, and execute campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Support sales and marketing execution across activities, including coordination of demand and lead generation-related and joint sales enablement activities between your Alliance partners. (GTM)
  • Increases the awareness at Microsoft of Wipro successful case studies. (Winwires)
  • Main KPIs: Leads generated in collaboration with Microsoft, Influence in Order Booking of Microsoft cloud workloads, Microsoft investments achieved for his/her regions, Winwires published, GTM lead in the sector with measurable achievements, Executive connections, and cadences with Microsoft.
  • This position will manage the partnership with Microsoft in Benelux, and an additional region in Europe, which may vary depending on the expertise of the candidate and the strategy of Wipro
What do you need to bring
  • Over 15 years of relevant Cloud and IT Services experience with at least 5 years of experience in sales in hunting role.
  • Creation of large proactive propositions, creating strategy, planning and roadmap. Proven track record in consulting, advising and solution selling.
  • Good understanding of IT Services in one or more of Cloud Datacenter Services & Operations, Data Analytics and AI, End-User computing.
  • Experience in strategic alliances, account / program management, business development, business development and strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure technologies like storage, servers stack is good to have, ideally with Microsoft and within large System Integrators (SI).
  • Excellent customer interface and presentation skills – communication & ability to deliver presentation, drive meetings.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, work effectively under high pressure, growth mode.
  • Availability to travel/flight up to 30% of the time.
  • Remote working is available. Wipro recommends to be in Amsterdam office 2-3 days per week.
  • Should be fluent in English, and live or be open to relocate to The Netherlands region. Fluent in Dutch is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a highly collaborative and matrix environment or any experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services company will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency with Office Suite, including PowerBI.
