Be at the helm of Gomibo's expansion in Germany

Due to our expansion and scale-up in Germany with our international brand name Gomibo, we are looking for a colleague who can establish and maintain current and future relationships in the German language. You are the first point of contact for our German providers and smartphone manufacturers in the field of e-commerce.

The telecom market is constantly changing. Product innovations follow each other in quick succession, and there is a lot of competition between the many parties. There are major growth opportunities in Germany in the telecom e-commerce industry in terms of technology and customer service, so we expect rapid expansion in Germany in the coming years.

Thanks to your expertise in relationship management, commercial attitude, and persuasiveness, you know how to translate Gomibo's international marketing and sales strategy in Germany into concrete objectives and agreements.

What do you do as a Partner Marketing & Sales Manager?

As Partner Marketing & Sales Manager Germany, you are responsible for:

  • Setting up and maintaining German partnerships and negotiating conditions with providers and manufacturers such as Deutsche Telekom and the German branch of Samsung.
  • Developing the Sales & Marketing Strategy in Germany together with the management team.
  • Expanding partnerships with parties across the e-commerce and telecom market, in order to increase Gomibo's market share, while adding value our partners.
  • Coordinating (trade) marketing budgets, provisions or commissions and campaigns for Gomibo Germany. These may include national TV and radio campaigns as well as online marketing campaigns.
  • Making sure campaigns are implemented correctly, and seeing to it that all agreements are fulfilled. Therefore, you work closely together with other teams, such as Team Marketing, Purchasing, Data Driven Marketing, Category Management, and the founders Jeroen & Jeroen to make sure everyone is facing the same direction.

Your role

In this role, you carry a huge responsibility, as the budgets involved in commercial arrangements are significant. Gomibo handles everything in terms of purchasing, sales, and marketing itself. For example, we buy our own airtime, and produce our own commercials. Since we have everything in-house, lines of communication are very short, and you can adapt quickly.

Gomibo is the telecom market leader in the Netherlands under the brand name Belsimpel. Our goal is to become the market leader in Germany, and eventually the whole of Europe. There is big job ahead of you, will you take up the challenge with us?

Who are you?

  • You have relevant work experience in the field of (trade) marketing or sales combined with a university degree.
  • You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing. You work together with many different parties (broadcasters, providers, manufacturers, colleagues) and can maintain good, and close contact.
  • You have a commercial attitude, and relationship management is natural to you.
  • You take initiative by a hands-on mentality and love to taking on several high responsibilities at the same time.
  • You work in a structured way to get things done.
  • You always see opportunities and possibilities, and enjoy taking up challenges and delivering results.
  • You speak professional German (must), and English or Dutch, as you have a lot of contact with other teams internally.
  • You are flexible, and willing to travel on a regular basis between the Netherlands and Germany, and spend a few days in both places as your customer portfolio is mainly in Germany.
