Software Engineer Frontend Development for GBAD Systems (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Development and testing of user dialogs based on Java Swing and NetBeans Platform (RCP)
• Integration of dialogs into an HMI framework and support for system integration
• Specification of automated HMI tests with the requirements management tool DOORS, execution of the tests with the tool QF-Test
• Optional participation in the development and testing of a new user interface with a modern HMI framework still to be defined
• Support in the creation of requirements and architecture Consideration of coding guidelines, compliance with the development process and quality requirements
• Creation of the required documentation
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science / software development or an equivalent qualification acquired elsewhere
• Business fluent knowledge of English or German
• team player
• Independent and structured work
• Good communication skills
• Extensive experience in software development and testing of Java based applications incl. Java Swing and NetBeans Platform (RCP) is required
• Confident use of software development tools such as NetBeans IDE, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT and Subversion is required
• Experience in test automation and experience with the tools DOORS and QF-Test are an advantage
• Experience with object-oriented SW development, with modeling in UML and with SW development processes (e.g. V-model XT, Scrum) is an advantage
• Experience with the Linux operating system is desirable
