Senior .NET Developer

About the role

We are looking to hire a skilled Senior Backend Developer specialized in C# (.Net), joining our Alternative Payments Methods development team in Regensburg, Germany. Banking Circle is growing rapidly and because of this our platform must continuously be built for scaling and performance.

In this role you will get the chance to work on our client-facing systems that support large financial institutions and be involved in the development of business-critical APIs and backend solutions. You will become part of an agile team, building a high-end product using a modern tech stack where quality, performance, and reliability matter.

Banking Circle is fully in cloud where you will be working with C#, MSSQL-server, Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure resources (Service Bus, Storage Accounts etc.), so you will get a chance to work with modern cloud services and solutions.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core
• Carry the technical responsibility of complex feature implementations
• Critically assess our way of working and contribute to improving it
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Apply sensible engineering practices with an eye for performance and reliability

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have extensive experience from a similar role where you have gained detailed knowledge of .NET. You might have worked with backend solutions processing high volume data with a focus on throughput and uptime.

We expect you to be experienced with performance sensitive applications and be comfortable with the inner workings of the .NET platform and its APIs. We run our entire core platform in Azure and Kubernetes, so experiences herein are therefore seen as an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person you are pro-active, responsible, quality oriented and takes ownership of your tasks. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, you have a structured way of working and courage to try new things. You are dependable and a knowledge-sharing team-player.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. If you master German, it will be an asset.
