Scrum Master

CODA100 is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide the development teams in adopting Agile methodologies and ensuring the smooth execution of Scrum processes. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in empowering cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an efficient and timely manner.

Project Scope

The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching team members on Agile best practices, and ensuring that obstacles are removed to optimize productivity. This role involves close collaboration with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software projects aligned with client expectations

Duties

Deliverables

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and focused.
• Mentor team members in Agile methodologies, helping them continuously improve their processes and collaboration.
• Proactively identify and eliminate blockers that may hinder the team’s progress.
• Drive the team towards consistent and predictable delivery of user stories, ensuring sprint goals are met.
• Provide clear and concise progress updates to stakeholders and ensure transparency in project status.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team follows Scrum principles, including task prioritization, sprint planning, and iteration reviews.
• Foster a strong sense of collaboration within the development team, facilitating communication between team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Advocate for continuous improvement by helping the team adopt Agile best practices, addressing bottlenecks, and refining workflows.
• Help the team navigate challenges, anticipate issues before they arise, and remove impediments to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals are clear and the team has the necessary support to deliver.
  
  

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
• Proven track record of working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
• Proficient in using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
• Additional Agile-related certifications (e.g., SAFe) are a plus.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts within teams.
• High emotional intelligence, able to motivate teams and lead by example.
