Remote Sensing Solutions Engineer (m/w/d)

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of satellite data, particularly within the Copernicus program, and a proven track record in supporting projects from inception to completion. This role requires a dynamic individual who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of high quality remote sensing solutions


Tätigkeit:

• Service development in the context of Earth Observation (EO) applications
• Design and implementation of technical workflows and solutions
• Analysis of EO data, geoprocessing, and data fusion using remote sensing & GIS techniques
• Strong interaction with European and international partners and costumers, including reporting and presentation
• Stakeholder engagement and raising awareness of EO benefits
• Manage and communicate with partners and customers on a technical level
• Support in proposal preparation (technical concepts and effort estimation)
  
  
  

Voraussetzungen:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of practical experience in the field of Earth observation; preferably in the environment of international development banks or in the context of international EO projects
• Domain knowledge in the field of EO
• Profound knowledge of remote sensing and GIS tools, including relevant software packages
• Proven and strong communication, reporting and presentation skills
• Experience in designing dashboards and data platforms is an advantage
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English (C1)
• Very good German knowledge (at least B2) or of other languages is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a team and take responsibility
