In your role as Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of the implementation and compliance with the quality management system with a focus on product quality through the corresponding introduction and monitoring operational process at the Darmstadt site.

Main Responsibilities

• Implementation and support of process audits to ensure the required processes in the respective areas
• Ensuring the implementation of legal and internal requirements as well as international standards of the food industry
• Supervision and coaching of QC team members
• Complaints processing
• Carrying out analyses and test methods of raw material samples, finished products and packaging controls
• Regular raw material and product monitoring for contamination, pestecides, allergens etc.
• Preparation of result reports and certificates of analysis
• Continuous evaluation of measurement methods and introduction of measures to maintain efficient working practices
• Identifying and addressing quality problems with raw materials, finished products, but also in terms of process reliability
• Implementation of the environmental monitoring program and initiation of measures in the event of problems
• Reporting of identified deviations and grievances as well as the determination of corrective measures and monitoring their effectiveness
• Creation & implementation of training courses
• Support in the further development of the QM manual
  
  

What do you bring?

• University degree with a specialization in Food technology, oecotrophology, master craftsman or comparable degree
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in quality assurance in the food industry
• Knowledge of current applicable legal guidelines and recognized GFSI standards of the food industry, preferably BRC
• Strong knowledge of the quality control of food
• HACCP & Food Safety
• High quality orientation
• High stress tolerance
• Good communication skills
• Personal responsibility and "hands on" mentality
• Fluent in German and English written and spoken
