What To Expect

As a Project Manager Mobility, your primary responsibility is to support the EMEA Mobility team in commercializing new customers, supporting new product launches and new product introduction with the target to grow the EMEA original equipment sales of drive systems within the EMEA Mobility markets. In this role you will report to the Business Development Manager Mobility EMEA

Based in Aachen and working full-time, you'll have the opportunity to give strategic input, support the operational excellence, drive customer satisfaction and commercial success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Business Development Manager Mobility EMEA in Project initiation and Planning of Mobility-related projects:
• Conduct requirement gathering activities and sponsor interviews
• Develop detailed project scope documentation
• Conduct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) exercises with team leaders
• Create detailed project schedules and critical milestones
• Build overall project budget
• Establish project baseline and project KPIs
• Perform risk mitigation planning
• Supporting the Business Development Manager Mobility EMEA in executing Mobility-related projects:
• Execute projects according to plan
• Lead issue resolution activities
• Conduct regular project team reviews
• Track project spend and manage project resources
• Keep project plans up-to-date
• Escalate resource issues to senior leadership
• Conduct Design and Phase-Gate Approval reviews
• Initiate project change requests
• Organize gate reviews with key stakeholders and functional managers
• Support and drive the creation of new customer profiles and the modification to existing customer data in the EMEA system
• Support and drive the creation of new parts and part numbers in the EMEA system, as well as maintain data for existing parts
  
  

About You

• A minimum of 8 years overall professional experience in Product management or Operations within a manufacturing environment, including 3 years focused as Project Manager, using formal project management processes such as PMP, Prince 2 or Six Sigma certifications
• Previous experience working in the bicycle industry and passion for this environment
• Experience working with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software and comfortable leveraging it for effective project execution.
• You thrive in flexible and adaptable environments, taking the initiative and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• You excel as an effective communicator and team integrator, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
• You bring a generalist mindset, capable of understanding and bridging different disciplines rather than focusing solely on technical specializations.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
