About the Online Course

The online UWC BSF Short Course is an immersive experience designed for around 50–60 participants from diverse countries. Running over 1–3 weeks, it includes workshops, lectures, discussions, and community-building events that address sustainability's environmental, social, and economic dimensions. Since 2020, the online course has enabled us to innovate and adapt the transformative UWC experience to a virtual platform.

Your Role as a Facilitator

As a facilitator, you will:

• Design and lead engaging workshops, discussions, and activities.
• Help shape the course's program, logistics, and overall execution.
• Moderate sessions, ensure participant engagement, and provide support.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team and guest speakers.
• Be an integral part of building a meaningful, global community.

What You’ll Commit To

• Dedicate time to prepare for the course, including designing sessions and attending planning meetings (primarily on Zoom).
• Participate fully in the course, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.
• Help evaluate the course’s impact and provide feedback for future iterations.

Who Can Apply?

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the time the course begins.
• All nationalities and backgrounds are welcome to apply—diversity is our strength.
• Prior experience with facilitation, education, or youth programs is an advantage but not required.

Compensation

Facilitators will receive a small volunteering stipend of approximately €200.
