B. Braun Miethke GmbH & Co. KG, based in Potsdam, is a joint venture between Aesculap AG - a subsidiary of the medical technology and pharmaceuticals manufacturer B. Braun Melsungen AG - and Christoph Miethke - founder and CEO of Christoph Miethke GmbH & Co. KG in Potsdam.

We work passionately on the development of innovative drug delivery products with the aim of fulfilling previously unmet or barely met requirements of users and patients.

We are looking for you as a Junior Engineer Development & Design to drive forward the development and approval of our highly innovative medical products.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the team with specification and design of mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Assist with the realization of prototypes and assembly of devices in close cooperation with our machining production
• Develop test benches and test procedures, carry out experiments in our laboratories to evaluate the performance and safety of our products and document the results
• Develop processes and manufacturing tools to improve the reliability and efficiency of device production
• Performing verification testing when necessary
• Analysis of data and writing test reports
  
  

Professional competencies

• Degree in mechanical engineering, medical technology or similar (Bachelor / Master)
• Experience with 3D CAD programs like Solidworks
• Strong analytical skills
• Skilled in working with your hands and have an eye for detail.
  
  

Personal competencies

• Desire to work in a creative and committed team
• Independent and very systematic and structured way of working
• Good knowledge of English and German (verbal and written)
