Purpose of Role

The job holder is responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of the department's artistic, visual image.

Responsibilities

This will be accomplished through but not limited to:

• Creating and maintaining the corporate design for all products and publications of Target Systemelektronik GmbH
• UI and UX concept and design for all products of Target Systemelektronik GmbH
• Usability and user guidance of software applications
• Testing of software applications to ensure excellent usability and readability.
• Creation of user manuals and quick start guides for all Target Systemelektronik GmbH products.
• Coordination and implementation of the localization of software, manuals and documentation.
• Design and implement the product and company websites of Target Systemelektronik GmbH.
• Collaborate with software engineers and implement the Web-technology-based aspects of the software application.
• Work with team members to identify and solve usability and readability problems.
• Creating consistent product photographs that correspond to the corporate design.
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
  
  
  

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

The role is based in Germany and requires working onsite two to three days a week.

Language proficiency in both German and English is required, as the position involves collaboration with the UK office.

High creativity, an excellent aesthetic sense, and a keen photographic eye are essential

A good understanding of design principles and their application using various techniques is necessary

High computer literacy is required, including proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office packages

Comprehensive knowledge and confident use of web technologies are important

A solid grasp of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices is needed

Good programming skills in HTML, SCSS, Blazor, Typescript, and Javascript are required

Basic software knowledge in C# is necessary

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools is expected

Strong problem-solving abilities, self-management, and analytical skills with attention to detail

Education And Other Experience Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or UX/UI Design is required.

A Master's degree in Informatics (MInf) is preferred.
