We are looking for a Global Head of Controlling (f/m/d) for our NextPharma team remotely or at one of our locations.
What duties does this role involve?
As Director Controlling, you will be a senior member of the Group Finance and report directly to the Group CFO. You will work with the Executive Board (CEO, CFO, COO, CCO, CSO, CMAO) and those responsible for HR, Quality, Legal, IT on the strategic development of the company. The group is organized virtually and within the matrix organization you will lead the Controlling team (strong dotted line), who sit within the manufacturing sites teams and have a shared report to their Site leaders.
You will support the CFO and the management with understanding and measuring business performance and business development over the short, medium and long term. Detailed data driven analysis should be at the centre of your work, which will regularly include supporting projects as such as M&A and capital investment with valid decision bases. The key focus is on production and cost controlling and profit drivers as well as operational and strategic (annual) planning which includes forecasting, modelling and internal reporting.

Specific Tasks Include
- Further development of Group Controlling processes and the integrated reporting system incl. standard variance analyses to generate meaningful recommendations for action
- Work with Group Reporting team to develop appropriate dashboarding tool and to enhance the business analytics system across the group
- Development of commercial controlling mid-set throughout the group controlling team
- Definition and preparation of financial KPIs for implementation at the sites
- Target/actual analyses at Group and plant level, including derivation of countermeasures and monitoring of corresponding implementation
- Analysis of strategic investment projects

What are we looking for in applicants?
- Manufacturing/Production Controlling experience in a multi-location business
- SAP Controlling knowledge
- Experience of product costing, variance analyses
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) experience
- Experience of running a Controlling function
