The role:

As our Director of Goldwell Color, you will lead the execution of the brand vision for the Goldwell colour category and all associated sub-brands, to meet our long term net sales and profit goals. You will own and drive activity to build the brand globally through well executed campaigns, as well as steer the NPD process for colour in line with the priorities for the Goldwell portfolio.


What you will do:

  • Shape the development and implementation of the Goldwell Color brand and product strategy, through global, regional and local campaigns, new product development (NPD) and ongoing portfolio management
  • Establish a new long-term growth strategy for Goldwell, cooperating with creative teams to utilise omnichannel campaigns and activity across all touchpoints (education, marketing, creative, digital)
  • Identify business opportunities and product concepts based on customer and client needs, the industry landscape, key market trends and existing Kao technologies
  • Collaborate with global / regional CS&P and commercial teams to optimise the product portfolio, perform market sizing and establish pricing corridors to ensure ROI on new product development
  • Own the initiative calendar for Goldwell color and collaborate with regional and market teams to optimise delivery
  • Oversee the annual budget and operating expenditure for all brand management activities
  • Develop and nurture a team of global brand and marketing experts, fostering the required capability to build the Goldwell brand globally


What you will need:

  • Fantastic experience working with creative teams in bringing executions to life on an international scale
  • Professional experience in global brand building and local product marketing (ideally in the consumer products industry)
  • Profound professional experience in the area of Hair Coloration
  • Proven track record of growing categories via customer centric innovation and superior brand strategies
  • Deep understanding of the salon or broader beauty business
  • Proven delivery of successful integrated, omnichannel global brand campaigns
