Your mission
You are a dedicated database administrator who contributes with technical expertise, innovative spirit and passion to place our database infrastructure on a high performance level.
Your tasks
- Creation and management (maintenance and optimization) of approx. 50 databases
- Ensuring the integrity and availability of the databases
- Carrying out regular backups
- Restoration of databases
- Implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery plans
- Database monitoring and troubleshooting support
- Optimization of the replication strategy
- Installation and maintenance of databases
- Working with IT teams to improve and develop data-based applications
- Advice and support for data modeling and performance tuning activities
- Updating database systems with patches and upgrades
- Optimization of SQL queries
- You have a strong affinity and passion for IT
- You already have experience in the administration of database management systems
- You can demonstrate training, a degree or several years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Ideally, you are familiar with the logistics industry, or you would like to get to know it
- You are a helpful team player and not a loner
- You remain calm and focused in stressful situations
