Our client is a leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry looking for a Corporate Insurance Expert, to handle and manage insurance responsibilities within industrial insurance lines. With over 30,000 employees globally in 15+ countries around Europe and a revenue last year of €50B+ it is an exciting time for the business as a whole as they grow their team further going into 2025.

Your Tasks

  • Advising units on insurance-related matters within the usual industrial insurance lines Checking for double, under- or over-insurance
  • Responsible for day-to-day policy management and, if necessary, the regular updating of insurance policies or risk data
  • Conducting risk assessments, implementing loss prevention measures Accompanying risk visits, reviewing risk reports, and following up on recommendations
  • Support in claims settlements
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with insurance brokers and companies and working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes
  • Collection of renewal data and support for renewal activities
  • Communication and enforcement of internal company policies including conducting training courses and close collaboration with internal
  • Stakeholders and external insurance brokers.
  • Support in insurance-related financial management (including budgeting, allocation overviews and auditing)
  • Identification and implementation of potential for improvement and savings
  • Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in insurance, risk management, business administration, law, or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in industrial insurance and the relevant insurance lines as well as with international insurance programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with assertiveness
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to prepare and present reports and presentations persuasively
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent German and English skills
