• Supporting the project team to challenge and select the best execution strategy.
• Improving planning of construction tasks and resources to optimize safety, quality, schedule, and costs before and during execution.
• Tracking and benchmarking data for predictable value creation.
• Facilitating actionable solutions to construction risks and issues from development through project execution.
• Ensuring the project team understands and implements good construction management practices and our Principles.
• Providing proven practice tools and measurements for construction management.
• Providing effective support of on-site CM resources and physical on-site support when required.
  
  
  

…so the Project Team can meet the project’s key objective(s) and successfully turn over the operating asset to Operations as a runnable, advantaged asset supporting Guardian’s leadership role as a preferred supplier of glass solutions.

What you will do:

• Assist in defining the scope of work for construction, schedule, and budget for all construction activities.
• Coordinate with all other project team members, including operations, engineers, strategic sourcing and procurement, contractors, and vendors as required.
• Define timing and conduct reviews for constructability and design for construction during the early Front End Loading stages.
• Identify and manage all project risks related to the construction project work.
• Capture and utilize all lessons learned and ensure all future projects receive and implement these lessons learned.
• Identify all safety management initiatives required for the project scope and execute these initiatives.
• Maintain key communication with all project stakeholders during the construction phases of the projects.
• Assist with specifications and requests for quotations for all equipment and material installation and services needed for the project.
• Promote a safety-first company culture on-site and in the field for all construction activities.
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

You have a technical background in construction and:

• Strong background related to safety construction practices.
• Proven experience of large capital project construction.
• Preferred electrical construction background.
• Autodesk Construction Cloud experience.
• Autodesk Software Tools experience.
• Experience with Point Cloud programs for 3D Modeling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Tools (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Glass Manufacturing experience.

This role requires 25-50% domestic and international travels dependent on project assignments and peak project activities.
