Chief of Staff (m/f/d)

Your mission

As the Chief of Staff in Photonic Computing at Q.ANT, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring effective communication across the organization. You will work closely with the Head of Photonic Computing and other senior leaders to support the growth and success of Photonic Computing at Q.ANT. Your mission is to enhance the efficiency of our operations, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and help execute our strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Strategic Support:

• Assist the Head of Photonic Computing in developing and executing strategic plans.
• Coordinate with team leads to ensure alignment of technological and financial goals with company objectives.
• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, including market research, competitive analysis, and business planning.
  
  

II. Operational Efficiency:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across Photonic Computing.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive accountability.
• Ensure effective project management and timely completion of action items.
  
  

III. Communication and Collaboration:

• Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments
• Serve as a liaison between the Head of Computing and other senior leaders to ensure seamless information flow.
• Drive internal communication initiatives to keep the team informed and engaged.
  
  

IV. Project Management:

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring they align with strategic priorities and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to overcome project challenges.
  
  

Your profile

I. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

II. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, strategic, operational, or consulting role, preferably in a technology or startup environment.

III. Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
