Dive into the FBI crime statistics of New York and solve true-crime puzzles in our Business Intelligence Workshop. We'll help you recognize the hidden patterns and draw valuable insights from the data.
In our one-day workshop, we offer you a practical introduction to the world of business intelligence. We'll introduce you to our modern tool stack - BigQuery, dbt and Looker-Studio - and give you an overview of DataVault 2.0. With these new skills, you'll be able to build a data warehouse with DataVault 2.0 and analyze the data to find out where the most arrests are happening, what crimes are being committed and in which neighborhoods the most shootings are occurring. You will then learn how to visualize this data with a dashboard. The dataset contains 30,000,000 arrests, 200,000 shootings and 1,000,000 squirrel sightings, since the beginning of 2023.

What We Are Looking For
- Ongoing studies in business informatics, mathematics, computer science or a comparable course of study

- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
