The Siemens GBS Business Development team is responsible for a broad range of tasks such as driving Product Lifecycle Management & Strategic Portfolio Management at GBS, fostering new business opportunities within Siemens Businesses, running Innovation Programs, conducting Market Intelligence research and supporting Siemens and GBS initiatives such as Sustainability.

- Drive strategic initiatives like product lifecycle management, organizational development, innovation & intrapreneurship in alignment with our business objectives and in close collaboration with our Top Management.
- Identify and analyze customer needs and market trends leveraging shared services/GBS expertise, contribute to global service and solution negotiations, and prepare customer meetings in collaboration with Top Management and internal partners.
- Research market intelligence and analyze market share to identify competitive advantages, prioritize high-potential services and support the scaling of services.
- Prepare and manage key corporate events, conferences, and executive presentations to ensure effective communication and strategic alignment across the organization.
- Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or the humanities
- Minimum of 5 years in business development, strategy, or consulting, preferably including experience in Siemens businesses.
- Strong background in customer value creation, co-creation practices, and process optimization.
- Customer-Centric & Strategic Mindset:
- Proven ability to identify and analyze customer needs and market trends.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to drive a customer-centric business approach and support innovative initiatives.
- Influencing & Networking Skills:
- Excellent influencing abilities and the capacity to build sustainable networks.
- Capable of inspiring and motivating colleagues to achieve collective goals.
- Project Management & Collaboration:
- Manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- Strong organizational and (agile) project management skills to oversee strategic initiatives and digital transformation projects
- Analytical & Communication Proficiency:
- Robust analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in German and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing corporate events and executive presentations.
- 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard
