Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? With strategic commercial responsibility, you will be working as Business Development Manager (m/w/d) and driving our business in the North Eastern part of the Netherlands (Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, Gelderland, Overijssel, Utrecht and Flevopolder). In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Familiarizing yourself in depth with the specific products in order to increase the market share of our ultrasonic flowmeters in Netherlands
  • Using solution sales and working with peer engineers to win new customers from the industry and further develop existing customers
  • Together with your sales manager and the account sales force, you will be developing a growth strategy to expand new customer business and develop your sales territory
  • Coordinating visits, new contracts and price negotiations and carry them out independently
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing team to share experiences and develop solutions
  • Participating in customer development activities such as trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences to promote sales of products, solutions and services

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering
  • Confirmed sales / business development experience in a commercial role
  • Affinity towards technology
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch language
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of time throughout the region


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

  • Background in Matrix organizations
  • Experience in industrial automation environment
  • Good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. measurement of pressure, temperature, level)
  • Understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical, waste water, oil & gas, power, life science) and applications (e.g. high temperature environments)
