What Will You Do
20% Contact with users to gather feedback
20% Conduct research and analyze outcomes to identify improvements
40% UX prototyping and designs
15% Performing user test or A/B tests
5% Improving processes of the design team
VIKTOR empower engineers to build and share applications that improve their productivity, knowledge sharing and their impact on the physical world around us. We are on a mission to unleash the world’s engineering potential. For example, a customer uses VIKTOR to design the longest immersed tunnel in the world, another one to optimize the design of wind turbine foundations. The users of the platform are engineers of big contractors and engineering firms like BAM, Heijmans and Arcadis. The applications that our users build on the platform have a major impact on their operation, for example large savings on CO2, material or costs.
With your creativity and experience you ensure that VIKTOR is a lovable product. You are in frequent contact with users, by interviewing them, conducting surveys, and attending events. That way you know exactly how our product is used and what the limitations are that users run into. Based on this you will design solutions/prototypes, test these on users and finalize the design. You work closely with the engineering team and product managers, and together you join forces to create a strong product. In the short term we want to further expand the design team, so you will help the team grow and perhaps lead the design team in the longer term.

YOUR PROFILE
- You have experience with UX research and design of software
- You see the bigger picture, spot opportunities for improvements and can come up with design solutions to solve problems
- You are creative and able to move quickly with developments and changes
- You naturally seek contact with users and proactively involve users in you research and design process
- Experience with Figma is a plus
- You speak fluent English, Dutch is a plus
- Work with experienced people on a well-maintained product
- Contribute to innovative developments with big impact and work with the newest and greatest technologies
