Join us to Electrify Mobility We are seeking an experienced, creative and results-driven Social Media Lead to join our newly built global Marketing & Communications team Job Description: As the Social Media Lead for ABB Emobility you will be responsible for the further development and execution of our global social media strategy to enhance overall brand visibility, engage our social media audience, and drive customer acquisition The ideal candidate has affinity with electric mobility, technology, and sustainability, possesses excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and has a proven track record in successfully managing a brand’s social media presence The Social Media Lead reports into the Head of Brand & Activation for ABB E-mobility

Your Responsibilities

• Social Media Strategy and Planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with our company goals.
• Create and maintain a global content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting across all platforms.
• Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to optimize the company’s social media presence and performance.
• Content Creation: - Produce engaging and shareable content for various platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Collaborate with internal teams in different geographies to gather information and create content that promotes our products, industry position, and company culture.
• Utilize multimedia elements such as images, videos, and infographics to enhance social media content.
• Work with external partners to create content elements where required.
• Community Engagement: -Build and nurture a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms.
• Monitor industry conversations and engage with influencers, partners, and customers.
• Campaign Management:- Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote product launches, events, and initiatives.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Analytics and Reporting:- Track and analyze key social media metrics, providing regular reports to management.
• Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
• Brand Advocacy:- Identify and cultivate brand advocates within the online community.
• Encourage user-generated content and testimonials.
• Stay Updated on Social Media Trends
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
• Recommend and implement innovative strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of industry conversations.
  
  

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Strong affinity with the EV industry and sustainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in social media management tools and analytics.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
