Senior Product Owner

Position Overview

As a Product Owner specializing in ERP within the SaaS industry, you will spearhead the development and delivery of our ERP solution and product portfolio, specifically focusing on our Manufacturing, Data Management & Analytics Pillar. Leveraging your profound understanding of ERP systems and SaaS principles, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, define user stories, and ensure the successful execution of product initiatives. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in Master Data Management, Data Quality, Manufacturing and Electronic Data Interchange solutions is advantageous.
• Prioritize backlog items and prepare work, including drafting concise functional designs and describing business processes.
• Validate test cases created by the QA community based on the described business processes.
• Provide input to the Product Manager for innovation and product enhancements.
• Assume responsibility for 2nd and 3rd line defect triage in development and/or implementation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ERP functionality, offering guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product performance and identify optimization areas.
• Conduct product demonstrations and updates for internal peers (Development / Sales / Marketing / Delivery / Customer Operations).
• Be accountable for all documentation available for the solutions, including release notes.
• Provide test case support, guiding engineers and testers in the team from a functional perspective.
• Serve as the go-to person for determining whether a certain function should be in the standard product.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to Delivery, Customer Operations, and Sales teams to enable enhanced support from those areas

What You Need to Be Successful (Minimum Qualifications):

• Minimum 5+ years of Product Owner Experience with deep knowledge of ERP with SaaS, and advantageous to have MS D365 Finance & Supply Chain understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for understanding and addressing customer needs and pain points.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is highly desirable.
• MS Certifications are beneficial.
• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is preferred
