Purpose of the Role
This role is a critical contributor within our European Demand Planning Department, reporting to Europe S&OP and Demand Planning Manager
Person in this role will be responsible for the transformation of our function in line with i-IBP global program and our departmental strategy. The role will build the capability in Demand Planning department, develop the supporting processes and technologies, and ensure that there is the ‘will’ to drive the change across the department. It will also be instrumental in aligning the partners to support the transition
Main responsibilities
Main responsibilities
- Own the implementation of i-IBP in multiple markets at the time. Own the deployment of i-IBP into multiple markets at one time from the early engagement through to delivery of the benefits. This includes, assessing the changes required in a market and building a plan that drives all elements (Behaviours, Process, Technology and Data) to the desired end state. Support and govern the market’s delivery of this plan
- Ensure team member alignment and support for Demand Planning transformation activities
- Design of Technology, Processes and Data elements for deployment roadmaps together with Global functions and technology leads
- Lead going process adherence performance in markets across Europe. Ensure continuous improvement of the Demand Planning as a function in Europe
- Coach Demand Planners and IBP Leads to achieve the change management outcomes needed for successful implementation
- Design and implement Europe DP Strategy improvement initiatives to improve the Demand Planning and S&OP subject area in Europe Region
- Ensures monthly reporting activities towards Global and Categories
- Overall minimum 6 years of supply chain management experience with strong Demand forecasting and project management skills, experience in S&OP/IBP
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in demand forecasting in a FMCG/Retail/manufacturing company
- Demonstrable ability to engage and align collaborators behind plans, win support for implementing change with Europe Demand Planning Teams
- BSc or MSc or equivalent experience in a supply chain related subject
- Ability to lead in environments where influence is more important than formal authority
- Demonstrable knowledge of end to end supply chain and Customer collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written combined with the ability to engage effectively at all levels in the organisation and with virtual teams
- An understanding of how leading technology tools can enable forecast with high accuracy
- Experience in Tools and platforms for Demand Forecasting
- Demonstrable ability to get results through remote network of people
- Numerate and ability to apply critical metrics to drive performance management at all levels, especially in demand forecasting subject area
- Experience SCRUM methodology will be considered as advantage
