NextNature.net is seeking a talented and visionary Editor to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our content creation and curation process, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and direction of our website, ensuring we continue to publish insightful, engaging, and innovative content that resonates with our audience

Your responsibilities:

• Content Development and Management: Oversee the production of compelling and thought-provoking articles for online publication. You will manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality material that aligns with our mission and audience interests
• Newsletter Creation: Craft and execute our newsletter strategy, designing content that informs, engages, and grows our subscriber base. Your creativity will drive the development of newsletters that not only summarize our latest content but also provide exclusive insights and previews
• Editorial Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of editorial integrity and quality. Edit, proofread, and enhance articles, ensuring that they meet our guidelines, are factually accurate, and align with our ethos of exploring the future of nature and technology
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with contributors and marketing colleagues to brainstorm ideas, commission articles, and provide constructive feedback. You will work in a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence
• Trend Spotting and Analysis: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in technology, design, future thinking and sustainability. Use your insights to inform content strategy and ensure that NextNature.net remains at the forefront of discussions on the future of our planet

Your qualifications:

• Proven experience in editing and content management, preferably in a digital environment
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences and formats
• A strong interest in and understanding of the themes central to NextNature.net, including technology's impact on nature and society. Finds joy in make complicated themes accessible to a broad audience by writing in an open, easy to digest style
• Experience in newsletter production, from content creation to distribution, is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• A collaborative spirit, eager to work in an interdisciplinary team and contribute to a shared vision
